In November of 2015 Splash Printing and Marketing won the Scottsdale Chamber 30th Annual Sterling Award for MicroBusiness. Jay Beaird, Marketing Director of McDowell Village, as a 2014 Sterling winner, served as one of the judges. Apparently Jay liked what he saw and kept us in mind, because he was back a few months later requesting a few large format canvases to put on display at McDowell Village.

For the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration of Inspired Senior Living, Jay requested that we design a 4 panel canvas installation to be displayed on site. The 4 panels featured the story of how McDowell Village came to life, “Faces of Fun”, Staff and Resident Relationship and a series of events held in the past few years.

After speaking with Jay a few times on the phone, I was able to determine his needs. He wanted to tell the story of McDowell Village as well as show the fun, active environment he creates. I am proud to say that after only two days, I was able to put something together to meet Jay’s standards and deadline!

Because we are a design and print shop that understands people, we were able to create a visual representation that conveyed the emotion and values of this truly unique organization. Jay is a sweet man and from working with him I can tell you that he is dedicated. He plays as hard as he works at making sure events and McDowell Village is a great asset to our community. Good luck Jay! I look forward to working with you in the future.
